The Gable #01 demonstrator house, with a 45-m2 footprint, was built only with 150mm-thick (R-27) LitePan®. No structural beams nor frames were used — all structure was achieved only using LitePan® and our patented structural connections.
In total, only 14 pieces of LitePan® were used, with the gable roof made using only two LitePan® panels. This demonstration house was designed for as the first step in a project to establish the value of Pixel Haus in meeting global net-zero-energy house standards. All elements of the wall, floor, and roof were airtight sealed and avoided thermal bridges.
This house can be built anywhere in the world and needs only one container of flat-packed LitePan® panels to be delivered.
